How rankings work
KalRank uses observed in-game activity and supporting public signals to estimate how active a KalOnline server is. Scores are activity estimates, not exact player counts. We do not offer KalRank voting, paid rank boosts or rewards for visiting.
In-game activity
We study observed in-game activity over time, with additional available public data providing context. Our collection methods, scoring weights, reference values and calculations are private. Public data availability does not prove that a game server is online.
Compare similar servers
Low, Mid and High Rate servers have separate rankings. All brings their published scores together for discovery; comparisons are strongest within the same rate category. We use recent observations and update rankings hourly. The published activity score is shown out of 100.
Confidence and missing data
Low, Medium and High confidence describe the quality and completeness of available evidence. Early history can have lower confidence. Unavailable supporting data can result in a lower score and lower confidence. If required public data is unavailable, a server shows a dash and a general explanation.
Activity history shows recorded results. Gaps, wipes, reviewed data changes and insufficient comparable history can make a trend unavailable.
Limitations
Public observations cover only part of a game’s activity and can be incomplete or manipulated. They are not proof of unique human players. No activity score proves that a server is free from bots.
We review unexpected changes and keep an internal audit history. Upcoming and beta servers appear separately from live rankings. Staff verifies status independently of announced dates.
Report a problem
If a server's details, status or activity data need review, request a correction. Include what changed so staff can investigate.
